The TRuE-HS Study - Now Enrolling
Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), or acne inversa, is a skin condition that causes painful bumps, boils and/or abscesses to form under the skin. HS usually appears in areas where skin rubs together, such as the armpits, groin, inner thighs, buttocks and breasts. As HS gets more severe, these bumps, boils and/or abscesses grow deeper, and can rupture or leak and cause scarring.
Like many skin conditions, HS can take a major toll on self-esteem and quality of life. Currently, there is no cure for HS, but researchers are studying new options that may be able to help.
Right now, doctors at select centers in North America and Europe are accepting participants in the TRuE-HS Clinical Study. The study is for an investigational cream for HS, applied twice daily.
If you join, you will receive all study-related care and study medication at no cost. You may also be compensated for your time and travel to attend periodic visits to your local study center over an approximate 15-month period.
Why Participate?
